Cherry Wild Wheat Beer – 4.7%
Just like it’s sibling – Untamed Series #2, we took some locally sourced fruit and added it into a dark wheat based beer. This time our friend Paul had a bumper crop of cherries from a tree in his garden. We pureed them and put that puree into the beer for about 5 months. The end result is a tart but not overly sour number. There’s funk but it’s balanced fresh and nicely fruity.
This time we’ve put it into a one-off keg to be sold out our first tap takeover at Crich Brewery in Belper. There may be one or two bottles but this one is even rarer than it’s sibling!

Heaven or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Arguably this was the last great album by Cocteau Twins. Made under strained circumstances with a greater focus, clarity and technical prowess that there previous recordings in the 80s. Swirling atmospherics and the soaring evocative vocals of Elizabeth Fraser carry a set of incredibly strong and timeless songs. Made in 1990, but still sounding unique and timeless 36 years later this album is one to sit down to and bathe in whilst supping a complex and evocative beer like this one.
