Marmalade Saison 6.4%

Saison, as the name implies, is a seasonal style from Belgium that is often on the dry and even spiced side of things. It aims to be crisp and even spicy, with a bit of hop character. We love to take a classic heritage style and give it a twist. In this case we added chunks of seville orange peel along with their pips & juice, enhanced with a subtle pinch of star anise and grains of paradise. Hey presto – a marmalade saison!
The name is inspired by the Plantin-Moretus museum in Antwerp, where two of the worlds oldest printing presses live. Combining this with the term ‘Pica’ – a measurement equivalent to 12 points. This goes nicely with a beer harking back in heritage, but with a well measured and balanced subtle complexity.

A bang up to date dreamy “shoegaze” piece of beauty.

Deary – Birding (2026)
Deary are a Brighton 3 piece who combine delicate vocals and reverb/effect laiden guitars but still sound sharp and focused. Coherent and moving song-writing makes this a stunning debut on the well regarded Bella Union label. Totally current, but harking back to some classic late 80s/early 90s shoegaze sounds (think Coateau Twins, Slowdive and even Lush), Birding floats, glides and magics it’s way into your brain.
